Ecolympics 2023

Winners!

Competition Overview

During Ecolympics, teams’ rankings will be determined by their performance in accomplishing a series of tasks throughout the competition. Ensuring fairness and uniformity, all teams will receive a standardized task list containing guidelines, submission procedures, and a point allocation system for each activity. These tasks will revolve around waste management and climate change, enhancing participants’ grasp of these pivotal subjects. The competition will be segmented into two phases, each carrying a weight of 1500 points, culminating in an overall total of 3000 points. Phase 1 will concentrate on knowledge enhancement and individual initiatives, while Phase 2 will spotlight community mobilization, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, three bonus activities, each worth 2000 points, will provide opportunities for teams to earn supplementary credit. In totality, participating teams can amass a maximum of 5000 points, inclusive of the bonus activities. This scoring framework offers a comprehensive and impartial method to assess teams’ endeavors and accomplishments throughout the Ecolympics contest. The tasks executed by teams will undergo evaluation based on predefined criteria by the Jury, determining the corresponding point allocation. Teams will be able to track their scores through a real-time points table, updated weekly. The teams with the highest points at the conclusion of Phase 2 will be crowned as the victors of the competition!
