About Yuwa
Supported By
Project Yuwa, led by the Waste Warriors Society and supported by Pehel Foundation, the CSR arm of PNB Housing Finance Limited , is a transformative initiative in Dehradun, aiming to empower the youth to confront environmental challenges. Through inventive strategies like Ecolympics, Green Gurukul, and Swachhta Chaupals, the project instills a sense of duty and activism. Clean-up Drives, Wall Murals, Art Installations, and Awareness Campaigns are tangible actions integrated into the project’s blueprint. By promoting sustainable behaviors and advocating for reduced plastic consumption, Project Yuwa cultivates a cadre of future leaders dedicated to combating climate change and waste contamination. This youth-centric mobilization not only empowers individuals but also contributes to a more harmonious and resilient ecological future for Dehradun and beyond. The project also forms a Yuwa cabinet of motivated young individuals addressing waste management and climate change at the grassroots level.
