About Green Gurukul
Green Gurukul, an inter-school competition organized as part of Project YUWA by the Waste Warriors Society with support from the Pehel Foundation (CSR arm of PNB Housing Finance Limited), aims to engage students in Dehradun in Solid Waste Management and Pro-Climate practices. The competition fosters problem-solving skills through carefully curated pro-environment activities, providing a platform for schools to compete in graded tasks centered around waste management and climate change. With standardized guidelines and a point system, Green Gurukul encourages students to think innovatively and take meaningful actions in these critical areas.
In total, participating teams can accumulate a maximum of 2500 points, including bonus activities.
The tasks completed by the teams will be evaluated through a set of evaluation criteria by the Jury, on
the basis of which, respective points will be allotted. The teams will be able to check their score
through a live points table that will be updated on a weekly basis.
